"Picabo" is a piece by artist Beatriz Milhazes.
Beatriz form is always started with a square, and then she builds on top of it.
The content of her work is much more meaningful. Beatriz Milhaze’s work is
inspired by her Brazilian culture. Ruffled
blouses, church facades, exotic plants and several other beauties she discovered
in her county all inspire her work. Beatriz’s work also features beautiful
colors which are referenced to the kaleidoscope of Brazilian Culture. Beatriz explains that she uses many colors
because it constantly moves the eyes of her audience. Understanding the reasoning
behind her work and her culture helps me better connect with the artist.
