Abstraction

I chose to do a piece by Pablo Picasso to represent Abstraction.  The piece is called “Women of Algiers, Variation N”. This painting displays women that appear to be upside down.  The women also feature body parts that do not look natural. For example, the knees on one of the woman appear to be bigger than normal and have a circular shape. I also noticed that the women do not have faces and do not appear to be wearing clothing. This piece may show how Picasso viewed women; Overall the piece is not how the natural eye sees women.
